Downtown Development
Vision: More than just a place to visit and then leave, people are drawn to our historic downtown as a place to
meet family and friends. A place with a “Town Square” feel, it has been uniquely restored and developed to preserve the past
and embrace our future. You can stroll the pedestrian mall with brick sidewalks lined with gas lamps and enjoy fresh ice cream
from the creamery while browsing the vintage shops. Enjoy delicious dining before going to the Old Town Community Theater
where local talent performs. With its old town charm and charisma, look closely to see the difference between the old and the
new.
Goal: To have a well-known and successful pedestrian shopping district located within the downtown area,
maintaining the quaint old town.
